This edition includes both current and historical statistics and brings together a comprehensive collection of birth, mortality, and health data into a single volume.
The third edition includes an expanded health section with many more tables on health insurance and health expenditures. In addition, there are several new figures on a variety of topics including teenage pregnancy, diabetes, and drug use.
