Asia and the Pacific is not only a major tourism destination region but also an increasingly important tourism outbound market. Compendium of Tourism Statistics

The Compendium of Tourism Statistics 2013, providing statistical information on tourism in 209 countries and territories for the period 2007-2011, is a reference guide for the measurement and analysis of the tourism sector. Together with the Yearbook of Tourism Statistics, they constitute the World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) main datasets and publications on annual tourism statistics, both under the responsibility of the Statistics and Tourism Satellite Account Programme.

Yearbook of Tourism Statistics

The Yearbook of Tourism Statistics 2013 Edition presents inbound tourism data for 199 countries and territories. It is the 65th edition in a series initiated in 1947. The Yearbook contains data on total arrivals and overnight stays of international inbound tourism, broken down by country of origin for both arrivals and overnight stays for the period 2007-2011.
