SourceOECD is becoming OECD iLibrary

On June 24, 2009 OECD iLibrary will become accessible via a link on the SourceOECD home page. This site is so different from SourceOECD that OECD changed the name. It will boast a completely new platform, with a fully redesigned interface and brand new features for both librarians and end-users. A special web site will keep users informed of all the latest developments.

The two sites (SourceOECD and OECD iLibrary) will run in parallel while OECD ensures that the content and main features are working properly. July and August 2009 will be the "Discovery Phase" for librarians & end-users. No special set-up is required.

Subscription prices for 2010 have been frozen. This price freeze, along with the new OECD iLibrary platform, makes this an ideal time for current subscribers to plan their renewal. If your library is not a subscriber, contact Bernan, an authorized sales agent for OECD, to arrange for a free trial of this invaluable online resource!

About SourceOECD

SourceOECD (to become the OECD iLibrary when a new version is launched in mid-2009) is the collective brand name for OECD Publishing's online services. These online services include access to OECD textual publications - includes the publications of the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), the International Transport Forum (ITF) - in PDF form and access to OECD statistical databases in which data can be selected and downloaded as .xls, .csv, or .ivt files. SourceOECD can be bundled with the traditional print versions or purchased separately as online-only products. SourceOECD includes 17 thematic book collections (roughly 150 books a year), 19 journals, 3 reference titles, 19 OECD statistical databases and 10 IEA statistical databases. SourceOECD hosts as well 20 series of working papers.

With SourceOECD, users affiliated with subscribing institutions are able to conduct searches, retrieve listings of publications meeting the search criteria, and then choose to download selected text titles in PDF format, or selected statistical data in spreadsheet format. In addition, if they are at an institution that continues to receive print versions, they can also obtain the print copy at their library. Access is available for titles published from January 1998 onwards. Access is controlled by IP address/range.
